Digital Marketing Delivery Specialist
About the business
We are a family-owned furniture business developing our online offering following a move away from a traditional store-led retail model. With significant recent investment in a Shopify website, we are focused on strengthening our ecommerce presence and delivering a consistent customer experience online.
The opportunity
We are looking for a Digital Marketing Delivery Specialist to bring our digital marketing activity together and turn agreed plans into action. Reporting to the Head of Digital Transformation, you will be the central link between our PR agency, Shopify development partner, SEO agency, external marketing consultant and internal social media team.
This is a hands-on role with ownership of day-to-day delivery. You will translate direction into clear briefs and project plans, keep partners aligned and implement agreed activity. You will need the digital knowledge to assess recommendations, ask informed questions and understand how different workstreams connect.
Key responsibilities
Project planning and delivery
· Translate agreed marketing and digital priorities into practical plans with clear owners, deadlines and dependencies.
· Manage several workstreams at once, track progress and follow through on actions to keep delivery moving.
· Identify delays, competing priorities and gaps in information, resolving issues where possible and escalating decisions when needed.
· Provide the Head of Digital Transformation with clear updates on progress, risks and next steps.
Agency and stakeholder relationships
· Act as the day-to-day link between external partners and internal colleagues, ensuring everyone understands priorities and deliverables.
· Prepare briefs, organise assets, coordinate feedback and secure approvals so partners can deliver effectively.
· Lead project catch-ups, capture decisions and hold stakeholders accountable for agreed actions.
· Constructively challenge recommendations and timelines, keeping activity aligned with business objectives.
Key responsibilities continued
Hands-on marketing and ecommerce delivery
· Implement agreed marketing activity and support Shopify content updates, promotional campaigns and website improvements.
· Coordinate PR, SEO, social media and website activity within a shared delivery schedule.
· Check completed work for accuracy, brand consistency and alignment with the brief before release.
· Work with specialist partners to deliver improvements to the online customer journey.
Reporting and ways of working
· Bring together agency updates and performance reporting to show what has been delivered and how activity is performing against agreed objectives.
· Maintain practical processes for briefing, project tracking, approvals and communication.
· Identify opportunities to improve delivery and help internal colleagues adopt new digital processes.
About you
You are an experienced digital marketing professional who combines strong project management with a practical approach to delivery. You can build relationships with people with different working styles, communicate clearly and bring structure to a changing business. You are comfortable taking ownership and working independently in a remote environment.
Essential experience and skills
· Experience delivering digital marketing, ecommerce or digital transformation projects from brief through to completion.
· A track record of managing multiple stakeholders, external agencies or suppliers and keeping concurrent projects on track.
· A sound understanding of SEO, social media, website content and ecommerce customer journeys.
· Hands-on experience implementing marketing activity or website updates.
· Strong planning, prioritisation and problem-solving skills, with confidence following up and challenging constructively.
· The ability to translate strategic direction and specialist recommendations into clear, achievable actions.
Desirable experience
· Experience using Shopify and working with website development partners.
· A background in retail, furniture, interiors or consumer ecommerce.
· Experience supporting digital change within an established business.
· Familiarity with project management tools and website performance reporting, including Google Analytics.
What success looks like
Agencies and internal teams work to clear priorities, deadlines and responsibilities. Campaigns and website improvements are delivered with timely approvals and consistent quality. The Head of Digital Transformation has reliable visibility of progress, and agreed activity is reviewed against its objectives.
