Whytematter is delighted to be recruiting a Sales & Events Executive for an established and highly regarded hospitality business based in Enniskillen.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who genuinely loves events, weddings and hospitality, but also enjoys the commercial side of a role. You'll be involved from the initial enquiry and sale right through to planning and coordinating the event, ensuring clients receive a fantastic experience throughout.

The Role

You'll be responsible for managing enquiries across weddings, conferences, private events and associated accommodation, while also helping to identify new opportunities to grow the events side of the business.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing wedding, conference and event enquiries from initial contact through to booking.

• Building relationships with clients and guiding them through the event planning process.

• Identifying new business opportunities and helping drive event revenue.

• Coordinating weddings, events, showcases and wedding fayres.

• Working closely with internal teams to ensure events run smoothly.

• Upselling additional services and facilities where appropriate.

• Managing event administration including bookings, payments, invoices, budgets and supplier information.

• Liaising and negotiating with external suppliers and contractors.

• Working alongside Marketing to develop and promote new events and packages. Events Co2026 Events Co2026

What We're Looking For

We'd love to speak with someone who has:

• Previous events and/or conference sales experience.

• Hospitality experience and a good understanding of customer expectations within the sector.

• A real passion for events and delivering excellent customer service.

• Strong sales and relationship-building skills.

• Excellent organisation and the ability to manage multiple events and priorities.

• Confidence dealing with clients, suppliers and internal teams.

• A proactive, energetic and commercially minded approach.

• Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends when events require it. Events Co2026

Experience within a hotel, events venue or licensed hospitality environment would be particularly beneficial. Events Co2026
