The Role
Working alongside an experienced team of Event Executives, Managers and Directors, you'll support the successful planning and delivery of a diverse range of events from initial proposal through to on-site execution.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting the planning and delivery of events from proposal through to completion.
Assisting with project management and ensuring deadlines are met.
Preparing and maintaining event documentation, including proposals, budgets, event briefs and schedules.
Coordinating travel arrangements, meetings and general office administration.
Liaising with suppliers to obtain quotations, confirm bookings and support event delivery.
Assisting with the development of creative event concepts and client proposals.
Building positive relationships with clients and suppliers, responding to queries and ensuring an excellent customer experience.
Keeping up to date with industry trends, venues and event services.
Attending events to assist with set-up, coordination and troubleshooting, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
Supporting the wider team with day-to-day administration and project coordination.
Core office hours are Monday to Friday, 9.00am–5.00pm, with flexibility required for occasional evenings and weekends during live events.
About You
We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Criteria
Third level qualification.
Experience organising events, either independently or as part of a team.
Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Canva.
A good understanding of event planning.
Excellent attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
A proactive, flexible approach and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Desirable Criteria
Degree in Marketing, Event Management or a related discipline.
1–2 years' experience in an events, administration or project support role.
Understanding of project management principles.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Experience coordinating suppliers and event logistics.
Knowledge of budgeting, invoicing or financial administration.
Experience using event management software or online booking systems.
Confidence building relationships with clients and suppliers.
Experience in a customer-focused environment such as hospitality, tourism or retail.
A willingness to learn, develop and grow within a busy events team.
