Paid Advertising Executive
About the Role
This role sits within a full-service digital agency delivering website and digital strategy projects for high-profile clients across Northern Ireland, the UK, and North America.
You will work closely with senior members of the digital team on a diverse portfolio of clients, managing paid advertising campaigns across multiple platforms (primarily Google Ads, alongside Bing Ads, Meta, Reddit, TikTok, and others).
The core focus of the role is the day-to-day management and optimisation of Google Ads accounts. You will contribute to campaign strategy, monitor performance, and present insights during monthly reporting calls and client meetings.
Additional responsibilities include supporting activity across other paid channels, analysing campaign performance, producing reports, and contributing to broader digital marketing strategy.
About You
You are a motivated and enthusiastic team player with approximately 1–2 years’ experience in digital marketing or paid advertising.
You hold a degree in marketing or a related field (or equivalent practical experience), and have hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns within a wider digital marketing role.
You are passionate about digital marketing and eager to progress your career, taking ownership of campaigns and contributing to a range of exciting client projects.
You enjoy working in a collaborative environment and are keen to continuously learn and develop your skills.
Must-Have Skills
Degree in marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience
1–2 years’ experience in a paid advertising role
Experience managing and optimising Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, Performance Max)
Experience with paid social platforms, particularly Meta
Strong organisational and project management skills
Experience delivering marketing reports to clients or internal stakeholders
Working knowledge of Google Analytics
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with tools such as Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, or similar platforms (desirable)
Understanding of conversion tracking and enhanced conversions
A proactive approach to learning and staying up to date with industry trends
You Will Also Be Expected To
Stay up to date with changes in paid advertising and digital marketing
Clearly communicate campaign performance and insights to clients
Plan and manage paid social media campaigns
Support the planning and implementation of email marketing strategies
(Desirable) Experience with CMS platforms such as Craft
