Role Overview
The Technical Support Specialist will provide first-line and second-line technical, software, and product support to internal teams and end users. This role is ideal for someone with strong problem-solving skills, a solid technical foundation, and a customer-focused mindset. You will be responsible for diagnosing issues, resolving incidents efficiently, and ensuring systems and products operate smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical and software support for internal systems and supported products
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and application issues in a timely manner
Respond to support requests via ticketing systems, email, and phone
Assist users with system functionality, configuration, and usage
Escalate complex technical issues to relevant teams where required
Maintain accurate documentation of issues, resolutions, and procedures
Support product updates, system changes, and basic installations
Work closely with internal departments to ensure minimal disruption to operations
Required Experience & Skills
Previous experience in a technical support, IT support, or software support role
Strong understanding of software applications and basic IT systems
Ability to troubleshoot technical and product-related issues methodically
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Customer-focused approach with a proactive attitude
Desirable Skills
Experience supporting bespoke or SaaS-based products
Familiarity with ticketing systems and support workflows
Basic understanding of networking, operating systems, or databases
