The Opportunity
We’re partnering with a highly respected, award-winning full-service agency to find an experienced Account Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment. The Role
As Account Manager, you’ll be the key connector between clients and internal teams. You’ll own day-to-day relationships, oversee end-to-end campaign delivery, and ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to a consistently high creative standard. You’ll also be encouraged to think strategically, spot opportunities, and help grow accounts through added-value thinking.
This is a hands-on, visible role suited to someone confident working both independently and collaboratively in an agency setting.
Key Responsibilities
Client Management
Act as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned clients, building strong, trusted relationships
Lead client meetings, presentations, and regular status updates
Interpret, challenge, and shape client briefs to fully understand objectives
Manage evolving client needs and expectations, ensuring a consistently high level of service
Project & Campaign Delivery
Brief and coordinate creative, digital, media, strategy, and production teams
Manage multiple projects and integrated campaigns across various channels
Ensure briefs are clear, well-structured, and aligned to client goals
Facilitate internal meetings and maintain clear communication across teams
Develop scopes of work, timelines, critical paths, and client quotes
Monitor resourcing and proactively manage risks and issues
Produce contact reports with clear actions and next steps
Review creative output and provide constructive feedback
Ensure timely delivery of post-campaign reports
Financial & Commercial Management
Produce costings and manage client budgets effectively
Track time and spend against budgets, addressing variances as needed
Identify opportunities for additional revenue and account growth
Proactively invoice completed work to support healthy cash flow
Strategic Contribution
Contribute to campaign planning, insights, and strategic thinking
Identify opportunities to add value through new ideas or approaches
Support pitch work and new business activity when required
Skills & Experience
Essential:
3+ years’ experience in an account management role within an advertising, marketing, or digital agency
Strong project management skills with experience handling multiple deadlines
Solid understanding of integrated campaigns (digital, social, print, media)
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
Strong commercial awareness and confidence managing budgets
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Desirable:
Experience working with public sector or regulated clients
Familiarity with procurement processes or tender-led accounts
Experience using project management systems
A third-level qualification in advertising, marketing, or a related discipline
