Role Overview
Our client is an ambitious, award-winning full-service advertising agency based in Belfast, known for delivering integrated, high-impact campaigns across a diverse client portfolio. They are now seeking a Media Executive to join their growing media team.
Working closely with experienced Media Managers, this role will support the planning, buying, monitoring, optimisation, and evaluation of media campaigns across TV & BVOD, Connected TV, Outdoor, Audio, and Print. The Media Executive will play a key role in campaign delivery, reporting, supplier liaison, and administrative support, helping to ensure clients receive best-in-class service and measurable results.
You will collaborate with colleagues across media, account management, and creative teams, as well as with clients and media suppliers, building strong working relationships and contributing to the continued success of the agency.
Key Responsibilities
Media Planning, Buying & Campaign Support
Support the planning, implementation, and optimisation of media campaigns across TV, BVOD, CTV, Outdoor, Audio (Radio, Digital Radio, Music Streaming, Podcasts), and Print.
Manage media bookings through relevant planning and buying systems (e.g. Concept).
Coordinate campaign assets, copy rotation schedules, and delivery instructions with media suppliers.
Track and monitor campaign performance using analytics tools such as GA4 and support post-campaign evaluations.
Compile research, insights, and supporting data to inform campaign strategy and optimisation.
Assist with the delivery of integrated campaigns across digital platforms, including paid social, paid search, VOD, and programmatic media.
Maintain a strong understanding of the current media landscape and emerging trends.
Reporting & Analysis
Produce campaign performance reports for specific or smaller campaigns using tools such as Looker Studio, GA4, or equivalent analytics platforms.
Analyse performance data to generate insights and actionable recommendations.
Prepare clear, concise reports and presentations for internal reviews and client meetings.
Financial & Administrative Management
Assist with media invoicing, reconciliation, and cost tracking.
Raise purchase orders and ensure alignment with approved media plans and budgets.
Monitor media spend, proactively flagging potential over- or underspend issues.
Liaise with Finance and Account Management teams to resolve invoice or billing queries.
Provide administrative support including WIP updates, status reports, and maintenance of media documentation.
Required Experience
A minimum of 1 year’s experience in a media or marketing role.
Experience supporting media planning and campaign delivery across at least two channels (e.g. TV, Radio, Outdoor).
Familiarity with analytics platforms such as GA4 and campaign reporting.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work to deadlines.
Desirable Criteria
Third-level qualification.
Experience using Looker Studio and audience analysis tools.
Understanding of UTM tracking and ad-serving platforms.
Google Ads certification.
Previous agency experience.
