We are seeking an experienced Digital Performance Manager to join an ambitious, friendly, and award-winning agency. The role sits within their media team and is responsible for planning, buying, monitoring, refining, and evaluating digital marketing campaigns for a range of clients. You will also work alongside the Head of Digital Media on new business proposals and support the agency’s digital proposition. Collaboration with account management, media colleagues, and clients at all levels is a key part of the role.
Core Responsibilities
Manage digital performance across multiple key accounts.
Oversee day-to-day administration of all live digital campaigns, including set-up, monitoring, evaluating, and refining.
Prepare media costings and manage client budgets accurately.
Negotiate with digital media suppliers.
Provide feedback on digital ideas and proposals.
Work collaboratively with and support the wider media team.
Manage purchase orders and provide media plans to finance for invoice reconciliation.
Strategic Skills & Technical Requirements
Campaign Strategy & Performance
Develop digital communication strategies informed by research, insights, and past performance.
Deliver integrated media approaches across the customer journey with clear performance forecasting.
Go beyond briefs to ensure digital work is aligned with wider communications strategy.
Strong knowledge of Google Ads, social platforms, GA4, programmatic, CTV, digital audio, display, content, and media partnerships.
Provide post-campaign analysis and distil insights into strategic reports.
Awareness of digital media landscape and emerging trends.
Desirable: SEO & GEO best practice, DSP experience, Google Tag Manager, and knowledge of traditional media buying.
Audience & Data Analysis
Build, develop, and analyse performance data using Looker Studio.
Implement measurement and attribution methods.
Conduct audience research, build segments, run A/B tests, and optimise campaigns.
Desirable: TGI and/or GWI knowledge, and an understanding of UX best practices.
Essential Criteria
4–5+ years’ experience in a similar digital role (agency preferred, but client or supplier backgrounds considered).
Hands-on experience with major digital platforms including Google Ads, CM360, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, Spotify, and ad verification tools.
Proven track record in campaign planning and managing large digital budgets, including partnerships with key suppliers.
Google Ads and GA4 certified.
Experience collaborating with creative/production teams.
Knowledge of technology and AI within digital workflows.
Experience with agency management systems, raising purchase orders, and resolving related queries.
Familiarity with CPD, ISO processes, and media briefing forms.
Strong Microsoft 365 skills (Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Copilot, Outlook).

Reports to the Head of Digital Media, working closely with ATL Media, Creative, and Account Management teams.
