The ideal candidate will have:
Strong interest in politics, public affairs, and current events
Knowledge of the political landscape in Northern Ireland, as well as an understanding of institutions across the UK and Ireland
Strategic thinking ability, with experience or ambition to develop proposals, client strategies, and engagement plans
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
A proactive, enthusiastic approach and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
Key responsibilities include:
Acting as the lead relationship holder for assigned clients, ensuring projects are delivered effectively and profitably
Supporting and delivering Government Relations activity in Belfast, including strategy, community and media liaison, and client meetings
Leading and contributing to campaigns for major projects in energy, health, development, and telecoms
Conducting research for tenders, pitches, and wider public affairs activity
Working closely with senior leaders to develop new services and support business growth
