COMPLIANCE AND FINANCE LEAD
Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland
We're looking for a motivated individual to lead our C&F team and play a key role in maintaining our robust compliance and governance framework. If you're a Senior Analyst looking to step into a leadership role, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
Leading and Supporting the Team:
- Managing a team, involving day-to-day supervision, guidance, and support.
- Offering direction and expertise to team members on tasks and issues.
- Reviewing the output of analysts to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Supporting their professional development and ensuring they meet their objectives.
- Recognising areas where team members need further training or understanding.
- Improving processes
Ensuring Accuracy and Compliance:
- Ensuring all project documentation and reporting is accurate
- Ensuring documentation and reporting is supported by evidence
- Ensuring compliance with policies and controls
Serving as a Key Point of Contact and Knowledge Resource:
- Being the primary point of contact for team queries
- Providing guidance and sharing knowledge of software updates and technical developments
Project and Workload Management:
- Assigning tasks and responsibilities effectively.
- Managing team workloads
- Adapting to changing demands and deadlines.
Audit Support:
- Helping navigate the team through internal and external audits
- Demonstrating the strength of the control environment
Ensuring Informed Business Decisions:
- Ensuring finance reports and transaction data is accurate
- Enabling the business to make informed commercial decisions
Maintaining Standards and Providing Feedback:
- Ensuring high standards are kept within the team
- Giving constructive feedback to team members
Qualifications and Experience:
- Significant Experience as a Senior Analyst
- Leadership Potential/Experience
- Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
- Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills
- Attention to Detail and Accuracy
- Understanding of Regulatory Frameworks
- Project Management and Organisational Skills
- Experience with Audit Processes
